Marshall Park Pedestrian Bridge, Portland, OR

MCE furnished full structural engineering services, including construction administration, for a new 40’ x 6’ wide timber frame bridge over Tryon Creek in Marshall Park. Concrete abutment walls were designed and detailed to support the bridge framing and MCE overcame the challenges of soil and hydraulic concerns consulting with the geotechnical and environmental engineers, delivering the project on time and on budget to the City of Portland Parks and Recreation.
